I'm not sure if I ever showed you this card, and if I did, I am sorry. I have been going back through my old stuff that I took pictures of and I ran across this one. Actually this isn't that old, I made this about two months ago. I did this for one of the Hero Arts Blog challenge, and I believe the challenge was to use a birdhouse or birds or something on one of our creations.
It was pretty simple to make this card. As you can see I tore green cardstock to make the grass and tore brown cardstock to create a tree. I used blue cardstock for my card base and of course to represent the sky, I even chalked in some clouds for a more real effect. The grass looked a little too plain for me when I was done, so I added some flower gems to spruce it up a little. I still feel like this card could use something else, but still happy with it.
Supplies:
cardstock - Stampin Up!
stamps - Hero Arts
flower gems - Hero Arts
ink - Memento
colored pencils - EK Success
thread - DMC

Julie, I love your swinging bird house card. The grass & tree are really neat.
