When I first started making these cards, my intention was to give them away as stocking stuffers, but unfortunately time got the best of me and I only got one set made but the supplies for the rest of the cards are already cut and ready. Maybe someday I will just give them away to people for them to send out to others. Since I was intending on these being a set, I kept them really simple. I think it is more pleasing to the eye when there is a group of cards to keep it simple other than busy.

Enjoy Every Moment
This is a quick card I did using my Stampin Up stamps. I have been neglecting them lately so I decided it was time to pull a couple out. I have just about as much Stampin Up stamps as I do Hero Arts, but I tend to use the Hero Arts ones more because of their ongoing contests and it is required to us their stamps to enter. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the card, and who knows, one of you may receive this card just because.

Happiness
I just got on the Hero Arts Blog and I found out that I won their Valentine's Challenge for a scrapbooking page. If you scroll down on my blog here and go to the LO I made about Gavin, that is the scrapbook page I won with. I am so happy and I get another $50 gift certificate. I just had to share this with you. If you want to see the post on the Hero Arts blog, here is the link:

Heart Card
Here is a card I created for the same challenge that I put Gavin's scrapbook page in. We just had to use at least one heart stamp to do the project. I love this card, the size of it just makes it so cute. It is only 4 inches in diameter but it still packs a good punch. It would be so much fun to receive something like this on Valentine's Day.

So True
Here is my most recent LO (layout) of Gavin in all his cuteness. I submitted this for a challenge with the HeroArts Blog and the challenge was to create a LO or a card using hearts. My idea of using a heart was not a "lovey-dovey" thing but an "I will love you no matter how crazy you make us" thing. :)
The journaling reads: You may wear us out some days, but when you shine that little smile of yours we are reminded of how much we love you and every little thing about you.
If you can see on the LO I circled the saying on his shirt that says "my parents are exhausted" and then I made an arrow to my title So True.

Welcome
Hi all. I just thought it was time to start a new blog for myself that strictly shows my scrapbook layouts and cards. I really enjoy the process of creating and I thought I would share it all with you instead of keeping it for myself and my family. I hope you visit often and that it may give you some inspiration to follow your passion and do what you love to do.
Thanks for visiting!
